She Sews Stitches By the ... Retreat - Yeppoon With the guidance of Michelle and the support of Petes Sewing Machine Centre, a group of thirty eight ladies came together for a five day machine embroidery rereat. A new project was available each day to challenge the ladies. and with a variety of machines, the tutors were kept on their toes. Jenny Haskins kindly allowed a delicate Delights embroidery to be used to create a doiley. Precision placement was in order. And the ladies excelled. |

 Bargain Box - Cairns - March The girls at Bargain Box Fabrics came together for three days of creative learning using theri sewing machines. Apart from an overlocking session, continuous bias with scalloping, embroidery positioning and free machine bobbinwork were learned. |

Hughenden Workshops - Jan On one week end in January, The Hughenden ladies came together for good friendship and sewing. Their output was fantastic. Also, one day is set aside so that the chidren have the opportunity to participate in some creative sewing. The children completed their fifth project and has asked for more. |
 The Home Ec room at the school was bustling with people and sewing. What a great venue !!
