The Summer Wine Quilt Group -
Since February last year (2010), a group of ladies have met regularly to stitch the Jenny Haskin's Summer Wine quilt. We worked to combine many of the embroidery designs to make use of the larger hoop sizes available with some embroidery machines.
With the embroideries complete, some ladies are free-machine quilting for the very first time. Also, quilt segments are joined making this project a true "quilt-as-you-go" project. Each lady applied their very own special touch to the Summer Wine Quilt, so that each is a unique piece of work. Congratulations to each lady for a wonderful effort. |
